Who Can’t Have Laser Tattoo Removal?

Laser tattoo removal is safe for most clients, but not suitable if you:

• Are pregnant or breastfeeding
• Have active skin infections or open wounds in the treatment area
• Have photosensitive conditions or are taking photosensitising medications
• Have had recent sun exposure or fake tan on the area
• Have a history of keloid scarring or epilepsy triggered by light
• Have very fresh ink (must wait a minimum of 8 weeks post-tattoo or PMU)

FAQs

Is tattoo or PMU removal painful?
You may feel a slight snapping sensation, similar to an elastic band, but the treatment is quick and manageable.

How many sessions will I need?
Most tattoos and PMU require 3–8 sessions, spaced 6–8 weeks apart. This varies depending on ink colour, depth, skin type, and tattoo age.

Will it remove all ink colours?
Our Nd:YAG laser is especially effective on black, red, dark blue, and brown pigments. Some lighter colours may need more sessions or partial fading.

Can you remove just part of a tattoo or PMU?
Yes — we can selectively fade or fully remove specific parts of brows, lips, or body tattoos.

Is there downtime?
Mild redness or swelling may occur but usually subsides within 24–48 hours. Avoid sun exposure, sweating, or makeup on the treated area during healing.
