Semi Permanent Makeup typically lasts 2-4 years, however we highly recommend to come for regular Yearly Colour Boosts every 12-18 months to ensure your results are kept looking fresh and defined.

We consider the procedure to be little to no pain.

The procedure can take up to 2.5 hours with Dove and Megan. Around 4 hours with our Training Students. Yearly Colour Boosts take around 75mins and Follow Up Top Ups take around an hour.

We highly recommend to have a Follow Up Top up 4-8 weeks after your first treatment. Two treatments are highly recommend to achieve best and long lasting results.

We cannot carry out the treatment on anyone who is currently pregnant or breastfeeding.

Aftercare is essential after all Semi Permanent Makeup procedures. Brow aftercare requires you to clean the area on the day of the treatment with sterile water, and start to apply the provided aftercare cream twice a day for one month. We then advise that you don’t wet your eyebrows for at least a week after the treatment. Lip aftercare has similarities, however it differers slightly. For lip aftercare we advise you to clean the area on the day and apply the aftercare cream as much as you need for the first week as the area will become very dry. We recommend to continue using aftercare balm for a full month. It’s highly recommended to take ACICLOVIR tablets to prevent getting a cold sore. Your therapist will tell you how to take these tablets. For both Brows and Lips please use a clean cotton bud to apply aftercare balm, do not use your finger! Sunbeds cannot be used within 4 weeks of treatment. Your therapist will give you in depth aftercare advice after your SPMU treatment.

Before the treatment takes place on your appointment day we will have a consultation to discuss your desired result. We will then proceed to measure your eyebrow shape to suit your face, once it’s done, we show you so you can get an idea of the outcome. Once we are both happy with shape and colour, treatment takes place.

Semi Permanent Makeup always works best on moisturised areas rather than dry. Therefore before an eyebrow or lip blush treatment, if the area is dry, we recommend to moisturise and treat dryness before attending your appointment. There is no need to get eyebrows threaded or waxed before the appointment, we can take care of this for you. It is beneficial for us to see the way your natural brows grow. This is the same for tinting eyebrows too, it’s best if we can see your natural brow colour. Lip Blush prep consists of keeping the area very moisturised, and using a honey and sugar scrub a few days prior to your treatment. This helps get rid of any dry skin from your lips. For Eyelash Enhancement / Eyeliner we advise you to attend the appointment with no eye makeup or eyelash extensions on. If you have eyelash extensions it is crucial they are removed before your appointment as we cannot work on eyes with extensions.

Semi Permanent Makeup and the sun do not go well together, this is because the sun can cause Semi Permanent Makeup to fade or change colour. We recommend to use a high SPF on your brows if you will be in the sun after having SPMU. We have an aftercare cream with SPF available to purchase at the salon if this is the case. It is recommended to leave at least 2 weeks healing time before your holiday.

We do not have parking on site. There’s many car parks around within few minutes walk to the salon. We recommend to always leave extra time for your appointment. Long stay Jeffery Street car park and Wheeler street car park is only 5 minutes walk to the clinic.

Every guest to our salon will be required to pay a booking confirmation fee, of £30 for your services/ treatments. The booking confirmation fee with be used as part payment towards your service/treatment, and if FULLY refundable should you cancel at least 72 hour prior to your appointment. If you fail to show up with no contact or outside the 72 hours regrettably you will loose your deposit and will be charged in accordance with our cancellation policy.
